Eder Melchiades

Born Eder Alberto Rodriguez Gomez on April 2, 1987 in san Cristobal Venezuela, Eder is an artist based both in France and in Miami. 

Having pursued legal studies at Santa Maria University in Caracas and completed a masters degree at the University of Buenos Aires, he has worked in the legal field but  is now transitioning to focus more on the creation of his art. 

His early training included art studies at the Ecole d’Art in Bayonne France  (Cité des Arts) as well as private classes in San Sebastián Spain and in Ubud Bali.  

Eder’s nomadic lifestyle has greatly influenced his work. Travels around the world have exposed him to a variety of influences and styles. He would describe his art as an extension of his connection to the people that he has met in his travels. 

Eder primarily uses paint but has also produced multi-media works including photography.
